ULM’s 129th Graduation Ceremony: Regional Police Chief Earns Doctorate, Environment Minister Launches Green Campus Movement

Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) reaffirmed its role in producing superior human resources (HR) through its 129th Graduation Ceremony held at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium on Thursday (April 9, 2026). A total of 1,258 graduates were officially inaugurated based on Rector’s Decree Number 410/UN8/AL.04.02/2026.

The graduates comprised eight diploma programs, 891 bachelor’s degrees, 237 professional degrees, 100 master’s degrees, nine specialist degrees, and 13 doctoral degrees. This graduation ceremony marks ULM’s success in providing quality education while producing graduates ready to contribute to society.

In his remarks, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si. expressed his appreciation to all graduates, including the presence of the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pol. Dr. Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., and his wife, who also graduated from the doctoral program.

“This is an example that the learning process never stops. We hope the graduates can continue to develop and make real contributions to the development of the nation and society,” he said.

The Rector also emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and upholding the good name of your alma mater in the community.

“As ULM alumni, set an example and carry the banner of the university’s good name through your work and achievements,” he added.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by a representative of the Governor of South Kalimantan, Expert Staff for Economics and Development Rusma Khazairin, S.K.M., who encouraged the graduates to become an adaptive, interactive, and technology-savvy generation, while upholding integrity and a spirit of lifelong learning.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, S.Hut., M.P. provided guidance on the importance of environmental responsibility amidst global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

On this occasion, ULM also launched the “Campus Waste, Finished on Campus” program and symbolically inaugurated Student Waste Sorting Activists by the Minister of Environment. This program demonstrates ULM’s commitment to supporting the national waste management movement and building a sustainable campus culture.

“Graduation is not just an academic ceremony, but also a momentum for the birth of intellectual, moral, and environmental responsibility for each graduate,” emphasized the Minister.

The following are the top graduates at the 129th ULM Graduation Ceremony:

  1. Najwa Femilia Andini, S.K.M., from the Public Health undergraduate program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, with a GPA of 3.99
  2. Puteri Ramadhaniah, S.H., from the Legal Studies undergraduate program, Faculty of Law, with a GPA of 3.98
  3. Muhammad Fauzan Adzim, S.Stat., from the Statistics undergraduate program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, with a GPA of 3.97
  4. Dina Roswandi Siregar, S.Pd., from the Special Education undergraduate program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, with a GPA of 3.95
  5. Putri Intan Aulia, S.I.P., from the Government Science undergraduate program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, with a GPA of 3.93
  6. Anisa Novianti Safitri, S.Pi., from the Fisheries Product Technology undergraduate program, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, with a GPA of 3.88
  7. Arifah Pagis, S.T., from the Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, with a GPA of 3.85
  8. Ahmad Sairaji, S.Hut., from the Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Faculty of Forestry, with a GPA of 3.81
  9. Muhammad Miftah Farid, S.Ak., from the Accounting program, Faculty of Economics and Business, with a GPA of 3.79
  10. Andi Insanul Khamil, S.Pt., from the Animal Husbandry program, Faculty of Agriculture, with a GPA of 3.64
  11. Maulida Pramitasari, M.K., from the Master’s degree in Public Health, with a GPA of 4.00
  12. dr. Fidya Rahmadhany Arganita, Sp.P., from the Pulmonology Specialist program, with a GPA of 3.66
  13. Dr. Utami Sylvia Lestari, from the Doctoral program in Environmental Science, with a GPA of 3.95
  14. dr. Impana Cibro, the best professional graduate from the Medical Professional Education Program with a GPA of 3.72

Through this 129th graduation ceremony, Lambung Mangkurat University reaffirms its commitment to being an impactful campus that not only produces academically superior graduates but also graduates with character, adaptability, and a concern for the environment and sustainable development.
