ULM Holds Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to Align Rector’s Performance Agreement with the Latest Higher Education Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Aligning the Rector’s Performance Agreement with the Latest Higher Education Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as a strategic step to strengthen institutional governance and performance achievements. The event took place on Monday, December 23, 2025, at the Aeris Hotel in Banjarbaru.
The FGD, which ran from 11:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) until completion, was led by the Lambung Mangkurat University LMRM Team and attended by ULM leadership and strategic units, including the Vice Rectors, Acting Head of the Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations Bureau, Planning Coordinator, EPPA Sub-Coordinator and staff, the RENSTRA Team, and the LMRM Teams from the Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru campuses.
The main discussion in this FGD focused on aligning the ULM Rector’s Performance Agreement with the latest KPI policy as disseminated by the Ministry. The discussion, which began at 1:00 PM WITA (Central Indonesian Time), also reviewed several KPIs that experienced a decline compared to the previous year, and discussed the addition of new performance indicators to be implemented in the coming year.
Through this forum, ULM affirmed its commitment to continuous evaluation and continuous improvement of the university’s performance targets. Alignment of KPIs is considered crucial to ensure that all work units share the same direction in supporting the achievement of the university’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
As a result of the FGD, a recommendation was formulated to establish new performance targets and indicators for 2026. The preparation of the 2026 Rector’s Performance Agreement is expected to fully comply with Ministry regulations and serve as a clear guideline for all work units in improving institutional performance.
Through this activity, Lambung Mangkurat University hopes to strengthen synergy between units, improve work program implementation, and continuously improve the university’s KPI achievements, in line with efforts to make ULM increasingly superior and competitive at the national level.
