Nabila Regita Putri Mustafa, Outstanding ULM Student, Initiates Innovative Solution at ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum, Thailand

Thailand – Nabila Regita Putri Mustafa, a Psychology student at Lambung Mangkurat University and one of the top 15 finalists for the 2025 nationally outstanding student award, had the opportunity to participate in the 2025 ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum (AYSF) held in Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious event was attended by 73 delegates from across Southeast Asia, including 25 from Indonesia.

Held from October 9-11, 2025, the AYSF focused on problem-solving aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developing sustainable business models, and in-depth analysis to generate real solutions. The event took place in three strategic locations: Centara Life Hotel, the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC), and True Siam Soi 2.

Nabila was part of a multicultural group of 11 people from five countries: Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. Together, Nabila developed an innovative idea called HEALIX.

HEALIX represents a systemic and innovative approach to addressing the hidden root causes that prevent communities from accessing quality healthcare. This name symbolizes a commitment to fundamentally addressing inequities in healthcare access, rather than simply addressing superficial issues.

“Through the HEALIX program, with every medication purchase, consumers will also donate to those who cannot afford healthcare, especially to purchase medication,” said Nabila.

Over the three days, AYSF participants participated in a series of intensive activities, including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), interactive workshops, and panel discussions with experts in the fields of desire and development. This forum provided a valuable opportunity for young people to share perspectives, innovate, and develop practical solutions to sustainable development challenges.

Nabila’s participation in this international forum reflects Lambung Mangkurat University’s commitment to developing students who not only master scientific knowledge but also possess global social awareness and the ability to create a positive impact on the wider community.
