ULM Holds UTMBK PSDKU Kotabaru for Dozens of Prospective New Students

Kotabaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a Computer-Based Independent Written Exam (UTMBK) for Study Programs Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) in Kotabaru on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

The exam was held at SKB Sigam (SMPN 14) Kotabaru, with 57 registered participants. They registered for three study programs: Special Education (3 participants), Aquaculture (25 participants), and Agribusiness (29 participants).

The UTMBK was divided into two sessions. The first session ran from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) with 35 participants, while the second session ran from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) with 22 participants.

On this occasion, ULM’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., SH, was present with the Regional Secretary of Kotabaru Regency, Ir. Eka Saprudin, to monitor the UTMBK PSDKU Kotabaru entrance exam.

Previously, registration for the PSDKU Kotabaru entrance exam was open from July 14–18, 2025, through the official website https://admisipsdku.ulm.ac.id. Participants were required to meet several requirements, including being an Indonesian citizen with a National Identification Number (NIK), graduating from high school (SMA/MA/SMK) or Package C in 2023–2025, being a maximum age of 25, and paying a selection fee of Rp 350,000 through a ULM partner bank.

During the exam, participants were required to bring their exam participant card, identification (KTP, student card, driver’s license, or passport), and a certified photocopy of their diploma. The selection process is scheduled to run until July 23, 2025.

The presence of the ULM PSDKU in Kotabaru demonstrates ULM’s support and the local government’s commitment to expanding access to higher education and supporting the improvement of human resources (HR) quality in the region. The ULM PSDKU in Kotabaru is expected to provide a pathway for young people to pursue higher education without having to travel far from their hometowns.
