ULM Structural Officials Achieve National Level Achievements, Proving Commitment to the Tridharma of Higher Education
Banjarmasin, June 25, 2025 —Lambung Mangkurat University(ULM) has once again achieved proud achievements at the national level. A number of ULM structural officials, starting from the ranks of Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions, Secretaries of Institutions, to the ranks of Vice Deans, have successfully passed and received national research grant funding in 2025.
This achievement not only reflects academic excellence, but also serves as real evidence that being busy with structural tasks is not a barrier to continuing to carry out the obligations of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
Among the grant recipients, the names of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Head and Secretary of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), as well as a number of Deans and representatives from various faculties were recorded. They successfully competed in a tight selection and demonstrated the quality of research proposals that were relevant, solution-oriented, and had an impact on national development.
Head of LPPM ULM, Prof. Dr. Prof. Sunardi, Ph.D., said that this success was the result of the dedication and consistency of ULM officials in maintaining the dignity of science, even in the midst of managerial responsibilities that are not light.
“We are proud to be able to show that structural tasks are not a reason to abandon the tridharma. On the contrary, it is a trigger for enthusiasm to continue to work and make an impact,” said Prof. Sunardi.
Secretary of LPPM ULM, Dr. Ir. Yuslena Sari, M.T., also added that this achievement reflects the collective spirit of the ULM academic community in making the campus a center of innovation and contribution.
“We are committed to continuing to encourage synergy between structural leadership and academic productivity,” she said.
ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, M.Sc., expressed his highest appreciation for this brilliant achievement. In his speech, he stated that with this achievement, ULM should be proud.
“This achievement is proof that ULM is not only present as an educational institution, but as an impactful campus that continues to inspire, mobilize, and produce real work for society and the nation.”
The success of ULM structural officials in obtaining this national research grant is a reflection of a strong academic culture, high professional integrity, and an undying spirit of innovation. This achievement further strengthens ULM’s position as a superior campus based on a wetland environment that not only builds from a scientific aspect, but also answers the challenges of the times through relevant and sustainable research.
