Synergy and Collaboration are the Main Focus of the 2025 ULM Work Meeting
Banjarbaru – Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held the 2025 Work Meeting and Management Review at the Novotel Banjarbaru Hotel on Wednesday (19/2). This activity aims to improve coordination and collaboration in achieving performance targets, in order to support ULM’s vision as a world-class university.
ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., stated that this meeting was a strategic moment in designing a more effective work program, especially in accelerating the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU). Evaluation of previous achievements, challenges faced, and formulation of strategies for 2025 were the main parts of the discussion.
“2025 is ULM’s third year as a State University with the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU). Therefore, reflection on the steps that have been taken is very important, especially in optimizing assets and managing business units as a source of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP),” said Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri.
This meeting also serves as a basis for strengthening synergy to achieve higher targets. Based on the SINTA indicator, ULM is currently ranked third in Eastern and Central Indonesia and ranked 24th nationally. In the Budget Performance Value (NKA), ULM is in 8th position nationally, while in the Work Plan and Budget (RKA) it is ranked 11th.
In addition, several new study programs undergoing the accreditation process have succeeded in achieving superior predicates, such as the Psychology and Socio-Economic Fisheries Study Programs. The Chancellor hopes that other study programs that will participate in accreditation can achieve similar results.
In 2025, ULM also inaugurated several new facilities, including the Mini Soccer which has been inaugurated and the athletic field which will be opened soon.
This working meeting was attended by around 220 participants, consisting of the Chancellor, Chair and Secretary of the ULM Senate, Vice Chancellors, Deans and Vice Deans, Directors and Vice Directors of Postgraduate Studies, and various other structural officials within ULM.
It is hoped that the results of this meeting can be a guideline for each work unit in preparing the Activity and Budget Plan (RKAKL), both for the revision of current year activities and planning for 2026. With synergy and a more progressive mindset, ULM is optimistic that it can become a superior and competitive university at the international level.
