Law Festival XIII: Inspiration and Awakening of the Young Generation

Banjarmasin – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, Lambung Mangkurat University (BEM FH ULM) successfully held the Law Festival XIII with the theme “Nawasena Mahardika” at the Idham Zarkasi Auditorium on Saturday (11/30/2024). The theme “Nawasena Mahardika” was chosen to symbolize the spirit of awakening and glory of the young generation, especially law students, in facing the challenges of the times. This festival is expected to be a forum for intellectual development as well as an inspiring discussion space.

This festival presents Vivi Mar’i Zubedi as the main speaker. Vivi, who is also the Chairperson of the Banjarbaru City PKK TP and is also known for her contributions to community empowerment and sustainable development, especially for women, is expected to provide new perspectives for students and festival participants.

“Sharing positive information that can inspire others and ourselves, I think that is the key to our thoughts,” said Vivi. She emphasized that everyone has their own abilities, strengths, and advantages. Sometimes, what we consider weaknesses are actually seen as strengths by others.

“When faced with challenges, such as having to express opinions in public, it is important to jump in and provide views as students. We have the right to speak up regarding important issues in the country. Develop your opinions and never try to be someone else or worry about what others think,” she added.

The XIII Lambung Mangkurat Law Festival is a form of commitment from the ULM Faculty of Law in supporting the development of the capacity of the younger generation while providing positive contributions to the wider community, not only the ULM academic community.
