This activity is based on the target of President-elect Prabowo Subianto who announced the establishment of 300 medical faculties throughout Indonesia, which means that there will be a lot of human resources graduating from medical faculties evenly distributed throughout Indonesia. This activity was also realized to be able to equip ULM Faculty of Medicine students in particular with the spirit of leadership and motivation to contribute to the progress of the Faculty of Medicine. Moreover, the Faculty of Medicine at ULM is a long-standing faculty and actively contributes to ISMKI.
“So, Character as a Leader must be developed from the start, including from students,” added the Head of IDI for the South Kalimantan Region.
He hopes that through this activity he can form a cadre of leaders from Medical Faculty students who are competent and capable of having leadership character. One of the leadership characteristics that must be possessed is to understand ethics and legal values in the medical field.
Moreover, with the changes in the digital era that are currently occurring, the circulation and delivery of information is fast, the delivery of criticism via social media is also fast and free.
