National Seminar on Mathematics and Applications III: “Innovation in Mathematics, Statistics and Their Applications in Forming Smart People to Welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045”
Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations and Information Systems Dr. Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc attended and opened the 2024 National Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Seminar III (SEMNAS MANTAP III) at Rodhita Hotel Banjarbaru, Saturday (24/2/2024). The seminar activity with the theme “Mathematical Innovation, Statistics and Their Application in Forming Smart People to Welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045”, is the third National Seminar carried out by the ULM FMIPA Mathematics Study Program in collaboration with the Statistics Study Program, HIMATIKA “Real” and the Statistics Student Association “Infinite”.
Present at the seminar were three main speakers from domestic and foreign universities, namely, Associate Professor Arief Gusnanto (Leeds University, United Kingdom), Professor Dr. Yus Mochamad Cholily, M.Si (Muhammadiyah University of Malang), Professor Dr. Moh. Ivan Azis, M.Sc. (Hasanuddin University, Makassar) and four invited speakers, Mohammad Reza Faisal, Ph.D. (Lambung Mangkurat University), Dr. I Gede Adhitya Wisnu Wardhana, S.Si., M.Sc. (Mataram University), Dr. Adhitya Ronnie Effendie, M.Sc. (Gadjah Mada University), and Dr. Moch Idris, M.Si. (Lambung Mangkurat University). This national seminar was attended by lecturers, teachers, researchers, practitioners, alumni and students from various provinces in Indonesia. Besides the main paper, there are also papers presented in parallel sessions.

Apart from delivering material from the main speakers, in this seminar a total of 39 papers were presented offline and 56 papers were presented online with the scope of the conference including Algebra and its applications, Artificial intelligence, Computational fluid dynamics, Data mining, Dynamic nonlinear systems, Financial mathematics, Mathematical analysis , Mathematical biology, Mathematics education, Mathematical modeling, Mathematical physics, Numerical methods and analysis, Operations research and optimization, Statistics and its applications.
