Inauguration of the Advisory and Advisory Council of the Front Group 02.095-02.096 ULM Base

Banjarmasin – Deputy Mayor of Banjarmasin H. Arifin Noor as Chair of the Branch Quarter (Kwarcab) of the Banjarmasin City Scout Movement inaugurated the Council of Guides and Trustees of the Front Group 02.095-02.096 at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) which took place in Hall 4 of the ULM Lecture Theater Study Activity Center on Monday (5/2/2024).

Front group or simply Gudep is an organization that organizes education or scout activities. The formation of this organization aims to develop young people to become educated citizens through scouting.

Head of the Branch Quarter, H. Arifin Noor, explained that there is a need for synergy at the Lambung Mangkurat University base to create a quality young generation. This also underlies the need for a front group to be formed where Dr. Rusmin realized that the level of student contribution in an organization was decreasing. “The challenge for the future is to increase student participation in organizations due to declining student interest,” said Dr. Rusmin So, according to him, there is a need for improvements or breakthroughs that can raise the enthusiasm of young people to take an active part in organizations.

This inauguration was welcomed enthusiastically by the Chairman of Kwarcab. He also did not forget to provide support and encouragement in the spirit of mutual cooperation and high collaboration to the management of the Manjelis and the Trustees of the Front Gugus 02.095-02.096. “We need to work together so that our young generation can grow into quality leaders who are ready to face various challenges in the future,” he added.
