Taking the Oath of the 13th Class of Pharmacists, the Rector Appreciates and Encourages them to Always Be Professional
Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again produced professional pharmacists. The Class XIII Pharmacist Oath Taking was held by the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA) on Tuesday (5/12/2023). This event was held in the Einstein Hall, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Banjarbaru and was attended directly by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachhri, S.E., M.Si, Dean of FMIPA Prof. Drs. Abdul Gafur, M.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., Deputy Dean 2 FMIPA, Coordinator of the FMIPA Pharmacist study program, Pharmacy Lecturer and FMIPA Pharmacist profession.
The new pharmacists appointed are as follows:

- apt. Aulia Mashidayanti, S. Farm.
- apt. Rusdiah Utami, S. Farm.
- apt. Indah Pebriani Putri, S. Farm.
- apt. Riza Pahlevi, S. Farm.
- apt. Dwi Agus Stiantoro, S. Farm.
- apt. Linda Astuty, S. Farm.
- apt. Nurul Hikmah Alfisyahr, S. Farm.
- apt. Putri Nilam, S. Farm.
- apt. Siti Maryan, S. Farm.
This event was also attended by the Chairman of the Central Management of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, represented by apt. Muhammad Reza Pahlevi, Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Service, represented by the Head of the Medical Devices and PKRT Section for Health Resources, and representatives of the Regional Management Chair of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association for South Kalimantan Province, as well as the Chair of the Banjarbaru Branch of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, Mia Fitriana, M. Si.
In taking this oath, pharmacists are asked to promise to become health workers who dedicate their knowledge to the interests of humanity, especially in the health sector. This is stated in the attachment to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.02.02/MENKES/413/2014 where Pharmacists, after the oath-taking ceremony is completed, will be officially designated as health workers who have the expertise and authority to carry out pharmaceutical practices which include manufacturing and controlling. quality of pharmaceutical preparations, security, procurement, storage and distribution of drugs, medicinal ingredients and traditional medicines.
In his speech, the Rector felt proud and appreciated all the achievements that had been achieved by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, especially the Pharmacist Professional Study Program which regularly produces pharmacists who are ready to fill the nation and state development process, especially the development of South Kalimantan. He hopes that through this event pharmacists can carry out their roles and duties seriously. “Reflect and make the oath and promise a guideline for carrying out the duties of a professional pharmacist,” said the Rector.
Reza Pahlevi, who represents the Chair of the Central Management of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, added that the STR document is now valid for life so that it will be very easy for young pharmacists to carry out health service activities in accordance with applicable laws. Apart from that, it is hoped that pharmacists can strengthen their competency by collecting SKP which will later increase the professionalism of a pharmacist.
“Strengthen competence by collecting SKP, practical SKP, learning, community service, knowledge development and scientific publications. “This must be done within the framework of the SKP letter issued,” said Reza.
He also advised all pharmacists to be active in the management of the IAI (Indonesian Pharmacists Association) in order to maintain, develop and improve the professionalism of pharmacists.
