UKM PSHT ULM Wins 5 Medals at the IVth PSHT National Pencak Silat Championship (Kejurnas)

Lambung Mangkurat University won 5 medals and awards at the 2023 Mulawarman University PSHT National Championship (Kejurnas) Pencak Silat IV which was held at the Indonesian Silat Association (IPSI) Sports Hall, Air Hitam Samarinda Folder. This event will be held for 4 days from 23-26 November 2023.

The medals won by ULM athletes at the 2023 PSHT National Pencak Silat Championship include:

1. Class A Adult Men (Bronze): Lilik Purwantono (NIM. 2110122110004) from the Physical Education Study Program, FKIP
2. Class C Adult Men (Bronze): Aldi Irawan (NIM. 2110611210051) from the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry
3. Class A Adult Female (Gold): Siti Sa’adah (NIM. 2310412120021) FISIP Business Administration Study Program
4. Women’s Singles Arts (Gold): Mawaddaturahmah (NIM. 2110126120006) Teacher Education-Early Childhood Education Study Program FKIP
5. Men’s Singles Arts (Bronze): Lilik Purwantono (NIM. 2110122110004) from the Physical Education Study Program, FKIP
6. Apart from winning a medal, one of the ULM pencak silat athletes, Siti Sa’adah, also won the award for Best Pesilat in the Female Adult Sparring category.

The Pencak Silat National Championship event was attended by 130 students from 11 contingents of State Universities and Private Universities throughout Kalimantan. The medals and awards won by ULM athletes are certainly proud achievements. Hopefully the achievements that have been achieved can be maintained and improved, as well as motivate ULM students to continue to develop their interests and talents in both academic and non-academic fields.
