Rector Appoints Deans of the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Faculty of Forestry, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business

Banjarmasin – Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si., inaugurated the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business on Friday (3/11/2023) at the Hall on the 1st floor ULM Banjarmasin Rectorate.

Based on the Rector’s Decree Number 1780/UN8/KP/2023, the Rector appointed Prof. Akhmad Rizally Saidy, S.P., M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for the 2023-2027 period replacing the previous Dean, Dr. Ir. Bambang Djoko Priatmadi, M.P.

Based on the Rector’s Decree Number 1782/UN8/KP/2023, the Rector appointed Dr. Ir. Untung Bijaksana, M.P., as Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences for the 2023-2027 period replacing the previous Dean, Dr. Ir. Agustiana, M.P.

Based on the Rector’s Decree Number 1779/UN8/KP/2023, the Chancellor appointed Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yunani, S.E., M.Si., as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business for the 2023-2027 period replacing the previous Dean, Dr. Drs. Ec. Atma Hayat., M.Si., Ak., CA.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Kissinger, S.Hut., M.Sc., based on Rector’s Decree Number 1781/UN8/KP/2023, was reappointed as Dean of the Faculty of Forestry for the 2023-2027 period after previously serving as Dean of the Forestry Faculty for the 2019-2023 period.

On this occasion, ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., advised the Deans who had been appointed to pay more attention to the achievements of IKU 1-8 in each faculty. Prof. Ahmad also set a target for each faculty to have at least 2 internationally accredited study programs.

“To make ULM a world class university, it is not enough for us to improve our English language skills, but we must have work that is programmed, systematic and measurable,” said the Rector.

At the end of his speech, the Rector of ULM advised each newly appointed Dean to be able to build collaboration and synergy with other academics in order to obtain maximum work results and the problems encountered can be resolved more quickly.
