Mentoring for the Implementation of the ULM Student Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (P2MW) in 2023
Banjarmasin – Referring to the letter from the Director General of Belmawa of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology number 5938/E2/KM.01.01/2023 dated 18 September 2023, regarding reporting, assessing the progress of P2MW 2023, and selecting participants for KMI Expo ULM Student Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (P2MW), ULM Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si held a meeting in preparation for the implementation of the progress report assessment which will be carried out in October 2023. This meeting activity was held in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building on Wednesday (27/9/2023) by inviting the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, the Coordinator of the Student and Alumni Development Section, the 2023 ULM P2MW PIC, the accompanying lecturer for the ULM P2MW Business Group in 2023 2023, each Student Business Group and Assistant Lecturer P2MW 2022, Sub-coordinator of the Interests, Talents and Reasoning sub-division, Sub-coordinator of Student Affairs Information and their staff.
This P2MW Mentoring (assistance) and Monev activity was carried out with the aim of optimizing expenditure absorption (80% of Termin (I) funds and progress in implementing student businesses as well as filling in progress reports for universities and student businesses on the SIM welfare platform, and carrying out Student Business Group selection on KMI Expo XIV 2023.
The Vice Rector said that this activity could not be realized only because of the role of the students, but was also greatly influenced by the university assistants and lecturers. Therefore, the accompanying lecturers are given the task of providing assistance and reporting every month regarding activities, then during the activities the companions are recorded on the welfare system platform.
In line with the issuance of the 2022 Rector’s Decree concerning Academic Recognition, Student Achievement, ULM has begun carrying out its duties to assess student talent interests carried out by the study program concerned, then facilitate business team infrastructure in the form of student entrepreneurial bazaar activities both within ULM and outside ULM. Next, namely providing financing for teams that qualify to take part in the KMI Expo and KMI Award.
At this monitoring and evaluation meeting, it was concluded that the implementation of P2MW as a vehicle for entrepreneurship activities for ULM students will be endeavored to run continuously and sustainably, as well as being a means of producing successful young entrepreneurs. Dr. Rusmin also hopes that students involved in this activity can achieve achievements in the KMI Award.
