ULM Welcomes UMM Benchmarking, Discusses Cooperation Management
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) welcomed the arrival of a team from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) on Friday (9/6/2023) to conduct a comparative study or benchmarking at the ULM Rectorate Building in Banjarmasin.
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations of ULM, Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., attended with the Head of the PKH ULM Bureau, Dr. Parmasihat welcomed the team from UMM headed by the UMM Deputy Chancellor for Institutions, Human Resources and Cooperation, Dr. Sidik Sunaryo, S.H., M,Si., M.Hum., with the Head of the KSK Bureau and the team.
In this agenda, UMM conducted benchmarking or comparative studies related to the management of cooperation carried out by ULM. It is hoped that in the future ULM and UMM can cooperate more broadly in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Education and service to the community.
University of Muhammadiyah Malang or UMM, an accredited private university that was founded in 1964 in Malang. UMM is located between Malang City and Regency and Batu City, Malang. UMM is accredited “Excellent” with SK Number: 858/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/PT/IX/2021 and has 10 faculties with 61 study programs and 5 diploma programs.
Meanwhile, University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) is an accredited state university which was inaugurated in September 1958 in South Kalimantan. ULM has 11 faculties with more than 100 study programs and 15 postgraduate programs.
By carrying out this benchmarking, it is hoped that UMM and ULM can enrich their insights regarding the management of cooperation so that they can continue to improve the quality of each as a tertiary institution.
