ULM Officially Gets Permission to Open Doctoral Education Administration Study Program

Banjarmasin – University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) has now officially received permission for the opening of the Doctoral Program in Education Administration Studies. The permit was obtained based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 425/E/O/2023.

Based on the decree, Educational Administration Studies is the 6th doctoral program owned by ULM as a state university in the province of South Kalimantan. Previously, ULM had opened a Doctoral study program (S3) in Development Studies, Doctor of Law study program, Doctor of Environmental Science study program, Doctor of Medicine study program, and Doctor of Agricultural Science study program.

Until now, ULM is also in the process of applying to obtain permission to open the Indonesian Language Education Doctoral study program and the Social Science Education Doctoral study program (IPS).

Since the establishment of the ULM Postgraduate Program 16 years ago, ULM has graduated thousands of alumni with masters degrees and dozens of doctors. Apart from the Doctoral (S3) study program, ULM also has 26 Masters (S2) study programs. The addition of this doctoral study program was carried out by ULM as an effort to support scientific development and the quality of human resources, especially in the province of South Kalimantan. Through the availability of various scientific field studies owned by ULM, ULM continues to strive to participate and play a role in building the golden generation of the Indonesian nation
