Socialization of Kalimantan Regional Higher Education Accreditation Improvement by BAN-PT

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) hosted the Socialization Activities for Increasing Higher Education Accreditation in the South Kalimantan Regional Area. This activity was carried out offline at the ULM Faculty of Economics (FEB) Lecture Theater on Thursday (9/3/2023). This socialization activity was also carried out online at the same time and was attended by all PTN and PTS leaders in the South Kalimantan region. Leaders and LPM faculties within ULM also attended directly at the Lecture Theater FEB ULM Banjarmasin.

Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT Prof. Ari Purbayanto, Ph.D. present directly to provide material and open discussions related to the policies of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) in APTUnggul. While the assessor of BAN-PT Prof. Johanes Hutabarat was also present and gave material on IPEPA (Accreditation Rating Monitoring and Evaluation Instrument) and ISK (Conversion Supplement Instrument) Accreditation.

Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc, on this occasion gave a direct speech as well as opening socialization activities. In his remarks, he said that it is important for universities to maintain and continue to improve quality. The strategies and improvements made to obtain the best quality, both at the university and study program levels, cover various aspects that are built on the basis of the system. “To solve accreditation problems, there needs to be hard and smart work as well as strong synergy between universities,” he said.
