The Rector saw that there is no great university without the support of great students. Student achievement creativity is one of the requirements for a university to achieve better achievements or performance. This can also affect the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) which have been targeted for each Tertiary Education Institution to be fulfilled, especially in the field of student affairs.
“One of the KPIs at a university is achievement in student affairs,” said the Rector. Therefore, the Rector hopes that through this activity, students can listen carefully to the speaker’s presentation so that it can become a stimulus for all academics at ULM to be able to increase creativity in order to encourage and accelerate IKU achievements. The Rector hopes that the achievements that are born through student creativity can be increased from 2023 onwards.
The Student Creativity Program itself is an activity to improve the quality of students (students) in tertiary institutions so that in the future they can become members of society who have academic and/or professional abilities who can apply, develop and disseminate science, technology and/or art as well as enrich national culture. . The Rector of ULM advised students to always have a high spirit of creativity and innovation. “I leave my hope to ULM students, for now and in the future, who will help you in navigating the process of life after becoming a scholar, it really depends on the creativity and innovation you have,” concluded the Rector.
