ULM is included in the Top 10 Universities Recipient of 2022 ADik Disability Scholarships and KIP Lectures
The Education Financing Service Center (Puslapdik) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) has announced the results of the 2022 Disability Affirmation Higher Education Scholarship (ADik) selection. Out of 340 people with disabilities who registered last October 2022, 261 people successfully passed selection and given the opportunity to undergo lectures at 80 academic and vocational tertiary institutions, both public and private throughout Indonesia.
Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), which is an inclusive campus, was also included in the announcement of the Adik scholarship by the Pusdiklat. From the data owned by Puslapdik, the 10 campuses that accept the most 2022 ADik Disability students are:
ï‚· State University of Jakarta-UNJ (Jakarta) which accepted 11 students with physical and sensory disabilities. They are spread across various study programs;
ï‚·Muhammadiyah University Purworejo which accepted 11 students with physical disabilities in various study programs;
ï‚·University of Brawijaya-Unbraw (Malang) which accepts 10 students with physical and sensory disabilities. They are spread across various study programs;
ï‚· Nusantara-Uninus Islamic University (Bandung) which accepted 10 students with sensory disabilities in the Special Education study program;
 Lambung Mangkurat University – ULM (Banjarmasin) which accepted 10 students with intellectual and sensory disabilities, most of whom were accepted into the Special Education Study Program and 1 person in another study program;
ï‚·Surabaya State University which accepted 10 students with all types of disabilities in the Special Education study program;
ï‚· Pamulang University (Tangerang Selatan), which accepted 9 students with sensory disabilities in various study programs;
ï‚·High School of Sports and Health Development (Medan) which accepts students with sensory, physical and intellectual disabilities in the Sports Science Study Program;
ï‚· PGRI Argopuro University (Jember) which accepted 10 students with physical and sensory disabilities in the Special Education Study Program;
ï‚· Sebelas Maret State University (Solo) which accepts 10 students with physical and sensory disabilities in various study programs.
Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si stated that recipients and scholarships for students with disabilities apart from being mandated by law are also ULM’s commitment to realizing an inclusive campus. Since the enactment of Menristekdikti Regulation Number 46 of 2017 concerning Special Education and Special Service Education in Higher Education, ULM has formed a Disability Service Unit (ULD) in 2018, has a Special Education Study Program, and also graduated 9 students with disabilities in 2022.
In addition to the Adik Disability scholarship, ULM students with disabilities also received KIP Lecture scholarships in 2020 and 2021, recorded as receiving KIP Lecture recipients with disabilities in the categories of physical disability and intellectual disability. Data from the Center for Education Funding Services (Puslapdik), from 2019 to 2022, it was recorded that there were 57 persons with disabilities who obtained KIP Lectures.
