Two ULM Study Programs Achieve “Very Good” Accreditation, Strengthening Commitment to Postgraduate Quality
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again achieved impressive results at the end of 2025. On December 30, 2025, ULM received two pieces of good news from the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK), affirming ULM’s consistency and commitment to maintaining the quality of higher education, particularly at the postgraduate level.
Two ULM study programs achieved “Very Good” accreditation ratings: the Indonesian Language Education Doctoral Program (Decree No. 2551/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/D/XII/2025) and the Educational Technology Master’s Program (Decree No. 2593/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/M/XII/2025). This achievement also marks the first successful accreditation for these two study programs.
The Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., expressed his appreciation and gratitude for this success. He stated that this achievement was the result of collective work based on the dedication, commitment, and synergy of all elements within ULM.
“Alhamdulillah, congratulations to the Master’s Program in Educational Technology and the Doctoral Program in Indonesian Language Education for successfully achieving Excellent accreditation in their inaugural accreditation. Thank you to the entire Master’s Program in Educational Technology and Doctoral Program in English Language Education, the LPMPP (Quality Assurance and Learning Improvement Unit), the Postgraduate leadership, and UPM for overseeing this accreditation process with full dedication. God willing, this will be a blessing for ULM in early 2026,” said the Rector.
Based on the LAMDIK decision, the accreditation of the Master’s Program in Educational Technology is valid for five years, ending October 15, 2030, while the accreditation of the Doctoral Program in Indonesian Language Education is valid until December 29, 2025. This achievement further solidifies ULM’s position as a university committed to developing quality postgraduate education, adapting to current developments, and responding to community needs.
Furthermore, the ULM Rector emphasized that this success is not merely an administrative achievement, but a concrete manifestation of the institution’s commitment to building a sustainable culture of quality. The “Very Good” accreditation is also considered to have strengthened public trust in the quality of postgraduate education at Lambung Mangkurat University.
“This accreditation recognizes our collective work and consistency in building superior, adaptive, and relevant higher education to meet the needs of the times,” he added.
