ULM Pharmacy Lecturer Demonstrates Research Expertise with International Best Presenter Award
Banjarbaru — The expertise of academics at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again received international recognition. Apt. Deni Setiawan, M.Clin.Pharm., a lecturer in the Pharmacy Study Program, Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) ULM, won the Best Presenter award (3rd place) at an international seminar organized by Borneo Lestari University.
The award was received at the International Seminar entitled “Synergy of Health Sciences, Legal Frameworks, and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Community Development,” held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Banjarbaru, Indonesia. Participants from various educational institutions and practitioners across various fields, particularly health and community development, attended the event.
At the scientific forum, Deni Setiawan presented his research findings, which stood out for their depth of substance, methodological accuracy, and ability to deliver material systematically and communicatively. The quality of the presentation was deemed capable of bridging academic studies with strategic issues of sustainable development, thus earning praise from the seminar’s judging panel.
For this achievement, he received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his academic contributions and professional expertise demonstrated in the international forum. This achievement also reflects the commitment of ULM lecturers to developing research and sharing knowledge globally.
The Head of the Pharmacy Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ULM, also expressed his appreciation and pride for this achievement. He stated that this award is not only a personal achievement but also motivates the academic community to continue honing their skills, improving the quality of research, and actively participating in international academic networks.
