ULM Lecturers Hold Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Education Management Technical Guidance in Banjarmasin

Banjarmasin, July 19, 2025 – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing early childhood education through Community Service (PKM) activities conducted by lecturers from the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PG PAUD).

Held at At-Tibyan PAUD Banjarmasin, the technical guidance (bimtek) activity, titled “Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Education Service Program Management Strategy,” was held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, involving teachers, principals, and parents.

The PKM Team Leader, Maimunah, M.Pd., along with a team of lecturers consisting of Prof. Dr. Hj. Aslamiah, M.Pd., Ph.D., Celia Cinantya, S.Kom., M.Pd., Chresty Anggreani, M.Pd., and Ratna Purwanti, S.Pd., M.Pd., led the training. This activity was part of the Lecturer Compulsory Service Program (PDWA), funded by ULM.

“We would like to thank the Rector of ULM and the Head of LPPM for their support. We regularly implement this program as a form of lecturers’ real contribution to the community,” said Maimunah.

Although Holistic and Integrative Early Childhood Education (PAUD) has long been part of national education policy, its implementation in the field still faces several challenges, both in terms of management and program implementation.

Through this activity, the ULM lecturer team strives to provide a comprehensive understanding and practical strategies so that PAUD institutions can manage services that encompass education, health, and child protection in an integrated manner.

“We hope that this technical guidance will not only provide knowledge but also encourage improvements in the quality of PAUD services in the participants’ communities,” added Maimunah.

This community service activity demonstrates ULM’s active synergy with the community through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in supporting the advancement of early childhood education in South Kalimantan.
