185 ULM CPNS Officially Sworn In: Commitment to Integrity and Professionalism Emphasized

Banjarbaru — As many as 185 Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) for lecturers and education personnel (tendik) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) officially took their oath of office in a ceremony held at the General Building Auditorium, Banjarbaru, Thursday (12/6/2025)

ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si directly led the oath-taking. In his remarks, the Rector referred to the oath taken by the 185 CPNS which signified their commitment to carrying out their duties as state servants at ULM. He also emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and commitment that must always be upheld.

“If you are not disciplined, you are not honest, you do not have integrity, then you are betraying yourself,” said the ULM Rector.

This event is part of a series of administrative civil service processes after the CPNS have passed the selection and completed the trial period. The oath-taking process was carried out solemnly, with all participants declaring a promise to be loyal to the country and carry out their duties honestly and responsibly.

The Rector also did not forget to give his appreciation to the CPNS who had just joined ULM. Not only from South Kalimantan, of the 185 CPNS who took the oath, several were sons and daughters from various regions in Indonesia, from Sumatra, Java, to Sulawesi.

Through this oath-taking, the CPNS now officially carry out their responsibilities as full state civil servants in the ULM environment, ready to support the implementation of the tridharma of higher education to the maximum.
