FKIP ULM Holds Preparatory Meeting for Specific Teacher PPG 2025

Banjarmasin – As one of the higher education institutions that organizes Teacher Professional Education (PPG), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) through the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) held a meeting in preparation for the opening of Specific Teacher PPG Phase I 2025. This meeting was held at the FKIP ULM Banjarmasin building on Tuesday (3/6/2025).

Dean of FKIP ULM Prof. Dr. Sunarno Basuki, Drs., M.Kes., AIFO was present and led this meeting together with the PPG FKIP ULM administrators. This meeting was also attended by the ranks of the Deputy Deans of FKIP, Head of Bureau, Head of Section, Head of Sub-section, to the academic team and managers of information and communication technology in the ULM environment.

Prof. Sunarno said that in this PPG acceptance, he wanted to strengthen collaboration between teaching staff, infrastructure, and ICT facilities to support the implementation of PPG at ULM.

“Let’s support and collaborate together, support the Rector’s program, develop ULM, and educate professional teachers,” he said.

To date, more than 4,000 teachers have registered for the 2025 Phase I Specific Teacher PPG at FKIP ULM.

Specific Teacher PPG is a program for in-service teachers, where the program focuses on completing certification for specific teachers that is more effective in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 19 of 2024 concerning Teacher Professional Education. This program aims to create professional, competent, and prosperous teachers.
