The Faculty of Science, Technology, and Health (FSTK) of Nahdlatul Ulama University of South Kalimantan (UNUKASE) has established a strategic partnership with the Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on Tuesday (11/4/2025) at the ULM Building.
This signing is a concrete step by both institutions in strengthening the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including education, research, and community service. This collaboration also aims to improve the quality of human resources in the academic environment of both faculties.
The Rector of UNUKASE, Dr. H. Abrani Sulaiman, said that this collaboration is part of a strategy to expand the partnership network while developing the campus’s superior potential.
“This collaboration is very important, considering that both universities have similar study programs in the field of engineering. We want to grow together, learn from each other, and make real contributions to society,” said Dr. Abrani, Saturday (12/4/2025).
In line with that, Prof. Dr. Ir. Iphan Fitrian Radam, S.T., M.T., IPU Dean of the Faculty of Engineering ULM emphasized that this collaboration is not just a formality, but rather a foundation in strengthening the quality of academic services.
“We hope that this collaboration will be the beginning of a long-term synergy that is mutually beneficial, with the spirit of sharing knowledge, resources, and experiences,” he said.
With this collaboration, it is hoped that the two faculties will be able to expand innovation in higher education, accelerate the development of joint research, and increase the real impact of community service in South Kalimantan and its surroundings.
