PT Jasa Raharja South Kalimantan Region Strengthens Synergy with ULM
Banjarmasin – PT Jasa Raharja South Kalimantan Region continues to strengthen synergy with various parties, one of which is with Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Banjarmasin. On that occasion, the Head of the South Kalimantan Regional Office of PT Jasa Raharja, Abdillah, together with the Head of the Operational and Public Relations Unit, Hendra Fakhruddin, and the Head of the Finance, Accounting & TJSL Unit, Mansur Umaili, conducted a gathering with the Rector of ULM Banjarmasin, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., in order to strengthen the synergy that has been established so far and explore opportunities for further synergy.
This meeting aims to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including traffic safety. Facts show that highways in South Kalimantan are still prone to accidents. Based on data from the Traffic Directorate of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, the number of traffic accidents in South Kalimantan in 2022 increased to 911 cases, compared to the previous year which was 681 cases. The number of fatalities due to traffic accidents in 2022 reached 403 people.
As part of efforts to improve traffic safety, PT Jasa Raharja plans to provide traffic safety material at the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) ULM in 2025. This program is expected to provide useful education for new students regarding the importance of traffic safety and preventive steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of accidents on the highway.
ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., welcomed this initiative and hoped that the synergy between ULM and PT Jasa Raharja could continue to grow and provide greater benefits for students and the community.
“We really appreciate this collaboration and hope to continue collaborating in various programs that are beneficial for students and the wider community,” said the Rector.
With the strong synergy between PT Jasa Raharja and ULM, it is hoped that a safer and more conducive environment can be created for all road users in South Kalimantan.
