ULM Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Elsart Tambang Kencana
Banjarbaru – In order to build Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) into a collaborative university and improve the quality of education and development of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, various collaborative steps and strategic efforts continue to be taken. One of them is by establishing cooperation, both with local governments and industry.
On Thursday (11/21/2024), at the ULM Banjarbaru Integrated Laboratory. ULM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT. Elsart Tambang Kencana on. PT. Elsart Tambang Kencana is a gold mining company in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan that is committed to the principles of green mining and sustainability.
ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E, M.Si signed a memorandum of understanding with Hendra Setiawan and Muljawan Margadana as Directors of PT. Elsart Tambang Kencana. Taking place in the ULM Integrated Laboratory Meeting Room, the signing of the MoU went smoothly.
The scope of this memorandum of understanding includes:
- Development of education and its application to improve the quality of resources from the parties.
- Research and exchange of information in the fields of science and technology related to it, joint publications in seminars, journals, patents, and/or other intellectual property rights.
- Community service activities to improve the welfare of the general public.
- Other activities as a form of implementation of the Independent Campus program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia agreed upon by the parties
- Other activities agreed upon jointly by the parties.
