Inauguration of the Indonesian Education Management and Administration Association (ISMAPI) of South Kalimantan Province
Banjarmasin – The Association of Indonesian Educational Management and Administration Scholars (ISMAPI) is an independent professional association appearing as a pioneer and facilitator in efforts to improve and develop Educational Management in Indonesia through the development of educational management disciplines, professions and practices.
ISMAPI is currently chaired by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Bafadal as General Chair of the Association of Indonesian Educational Management Scholars where he emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities, considering their strategic role in producing graduates or alumni who can bring change in the world of education today.
It is known that ISMAPI South Kalimantan has just been confirmed by Central ISMAPI also assisted by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Bafadal. This is certainly a mandate for ISMAPI South Kalimantan Province to be able to carry out the work program relay planned by Central ISMAPI to be implemented in the regions. At this inauguration, the person appointed by ISMAPI South Kalimantan was Dr. Sulistyana, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Also present at the inauguration of the South Kalimantan ISMAPI Management which was held on Wednesday (22/11/2023) at the General Building, ULM Campus. Honorary Council, Expert Council and all ISMAPI Management who have been appointed. Apart from that, the Rector of Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin and the Chancellor of NU University, South Kalimantan were also present
In his speech, Dr. Sulistyana said that his party was trying to contribute optimally to advancing education through synergy and collaboration with all stakeholders. “Including synergy with universities to increase the capacity of alumni to be able to advance education in South Kalimantan,” said Dr. Sulistyana. He said that the work program implemented by ISMAPI should be the basis for regional education policy.
A total of 42 members are members of the South Kalimantan Province SIMAPI Association, where it is hoped that all members can be actively involved in every activity to support educational progress, especially at the primary and secondary school levels. On the other hand, Sulistyana wants to be able to work together with the central ISMAPI management to collaborate on various activities such as creating “book chapters” for collections of scientific papers, educational management-based journals and research. “We have great hope that we, the South Kalimantan Provincial ISMAPI administrators, will work together and join hands to make the mandate and programs of Central ISMAPI a success.” This was emphasized by Sulistyana in order to realize the Vision of Central ISMAPI, namely realizing professional, superior and quality education management.
