Cooperation and Public Relations Service Unit Coordination Meeting within ULM
Banjarmasin – Vice Rector for Planning, Collaboration and Public Relations Dr. Ir. Yusuf.Aziz, M.Sc invited a number of Faculty, Institutional and Postgraduate leaders as well as the Cooperation and Public Relations Service Unit Team (UPKH) throughout the work units of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) for the UPKH coordination meeting on Tuesday (04/07/2023). UPKH Coordination Meetings are routinely held to improve the management of activities related to cooperation and public relations within the University of Lambung Mangkurat. In addition, this activity is expected to equate perceptions of collaboration and public relations as targets for Key Performance Indicators (IKU) at ULM. Present at this coordination meeting Head of Bureau of Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Drs. Parmasihat, Deputy Dean III of the Faculty at ULM, Deputy Director II of the Graduate School, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and the entire UPKH Team.
UPKH Faculty, Postgraduate and Institutions were formed with the aim of facilitating the coordination of activities with Cooperation and Public Relations of the ULM Rectorate. As important is the role of cooperation and public relations in an organization which makes its role very decisive for the image of an institution. Therefore, this UPKH coordination meeting is very useful to carry out considering the information and activities or work carried out are dynamic or changing, so it is necessary to update information periodically when needed or coordinate other activities.
On this occasion, the Vice Rector also introduced ULM’s mass media and social media in the context of disseminating information to the public. ULM is also currently publishing news and activities at ULM for a week which is a summary of activities at ULM for a week that has been running. In the future, he hopes that there will be input or news from UPKH Faculties, Postgraduates, and Institutions to fill in each other’s ULM bulletins a week. He also stated this as a KPI achievement target.
On the same occasion, Drs. Parmasihat as the Head of BPKH ULM in his presentation also revealed that the low percentage of IKU 6 occurred due to different indicators set. The collaboration that will be carried out in 2022 has a lot to do with community service, research, studies, and so on which do not involve many study programs, where collaboration between study programs should be related to learning development, curriculum content, and learning methods need to be improved. It is hoped that this coordination will further maximize the existing collaboration and contribute to increasing the University’s IKU 6.
