ULM Holds PDDIKTI Data Synchronization Workshop and PISN Implementation
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of higher education governance by holding a Workshop on PDDIKTI Data Retrieval and Synchronization and the Implementation of the National Diploma and Certificate Numbering (PISN) Application. The event took place at the Gsign Hotel Banjarmasin on Tuesday (December 9, 2025).
The workshop was attended by SIMARI operators from all diploma and undergraduate study programs, as well as representatives from the ULM ICT UPA, LPMPP ULM, and the ULM Integrated Learning Activity Mobilization (MKBT) team. The presence of these strategic elements emphasized the importance of integrated academic data management across units.
The workshop aimed to ensure the validity, conformity, and synchronization of data in the Higher Education Database (PDDIKTI) and to provide technical understanding regarding the implementation of the PISN application as a mandatory instrument in the national diploma issuance process. In her remarks, the Head of the ULM Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Nieke Rezeki Febriantie, S.E., M.M., emphasized that PDDIKTI is an official data source whose accuracy must be maintained by all academic units.
“As we know, PDDIKTI is an official data source recognized by universities, so data validation and synchronization are our shared responsibility,” she said.
This workshop was deemed crucial given several cases of invalid or unsynchronized data at the study program level, which can hinder various academic processes and impact students, lecturers, alumni, and the institution. She also encouraged participants to maximize discussion forums with teams from PUSDATIN and BELMAWA KEMDIKTISAINTEK to ensure optimal implementation of technology and regulations.
The discussion then proceeded interactively, bringing together various field issues with direct solutions from ministry speakers. With this workshop, ULM strives to ensure that all academic processes—from student admissions to graduation—are based on accurate, standardized, and accountable data.
Through this workshop, Lambung Mangkurat University strengthens its role as an adaptive, regulatory-compliant university committed to quality academic governance. This activity also ensures that ULM’s academic services are increasingly integrated and align with national standards, ensuring a smooth student learning process, from graduation to graduation.
