Technical Training for Cooperation at Borneo Lestari University
Banjarmasin — The Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Andi Nursalam, AS, S.Pt, was a resource person in the Public Speaking Training and Technical Guidance (Bimtek) themed “Synergy and Innovation for Sustainable Partnerships” at Borneo Lestari University, Friday (12/20/2024). This event took place at the Auditorium of UBorneo Lestari University and was attended by educational staff, lecturers, students, and representatives of campus partners.
In this activity, Andi Nursalam shared insights related to the technical implementation of institutional cooperation, starting from the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Cooperation Agreement (PKS), to the Implementing Agreement (IA). Andi Nursalam explained that these stages are the basis for building strategic collaboration with various parties, including local governments, BUMN, and the private sector.
“Effective cooperation must begin with good communication and continue with innovation that can strengthen long-term partnerships,” Andi explained.
In addition, training participants were also invited to understand the importance of effective communication in building professional relationships. Through interactive discussion sessions, participants were also given tips to increase self-confidence when speaking in public, which is the key to success in building synergy with external partners.
As a private campus that has a focus or dominance in the field of health education, Borneo Lestari University hopes that in the future it can strengthen relations with various partners, as well as provide a positive impact on the development of scientific human resource capabilities.
“We hope that the knowledge gained can be implemented to improve the quality of cooperation in various sectors,” added Andi.
This activity is also expected to broaden participants’ insights regarding innovation and sustainable collaboration, strengthen relations between universities, and create new opportunities for academic and professional development.
Through this training, Lambung Mangkurat University shows its commitment to supporting the development of other educational institutions, while strengthening its role as a university that actively builds strategic partnerships at the regional and national levels.
