ULM collaborates with PT. Dangsanak Banua Sebuku
Banjarmasin- Cooperation is one of the indicators measured by the Ministry for each Higher Education Institution. This is also a measure of performance achievement in the Main Performance Indicators in the field of cooperation. Therefore, Lambung Mangkurat University is committed to continuing to increase cooperation with local governments, private companies and regional companies (Regional Companies).
This was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT. Dangsanak Banua Sebuku with Lambung Mangkurat University which was held on Monday (12/2/2024). Attended by regional officials, Expert Staff for Economics and Development, Head of South Kalimantan Provincial Service, Health Service, Energy and Mineral Resources Service, Environment Service, Forestry Service, Fisheries and Maritime Service. Apart from that, it was also attended by a number of Main Directors of companies such as PT. Bangun Banua South Kalimantan, PT. Amang Barito Persada, PT. Build Banua Persada, South Kalimantan. It is hoped that the presence of regional companies at ULM can lead ULM to become the best university in Eastern Indonesia, especially Kalimantan. “What ULM is currently facing is how to establish collaboration and synergy between regional governments and all private companies and regional companies (regional companies).” Said the Rector
ULM RectorProf. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si signed the MoU directly together with the President Director of PT. Dangsanak Banua Sebuku Adi Kartikas, S.E., Akt., M.M in the 2nd Floor Hall of the ULM Rectorate. The Rectorbelieves that this collaboration will be an important strategic value for ULM. “Because this (collaboration) is one measure of performance achievement for Lambung Mangkurat University.” Said the Rector.
The Rectoralso hopes that today’s signing of the MoU can be followed up with the implementation of cooperation in the form of a PKS (Cooperation Agreement), which according to him is also important for mutual attention. “For ULM Mou without PKS the value is equal to 0. But if this is continued with PKS, in any form of activity between Perusda and ULM then that will certainly be the value when the performance assessment is carried out by the Ministry.” he added.
The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes education, research, training and community service. Apart from that, increasing and developing human resource competencies. Independent Learning-Free Campus Program (MBKM), a center for business development and other areas of cooperation.
The Rectoralso did not forget to announce that ULM’s Main Performance Indicator achievements for the BLU league in the field of cooperation were in the 6th best position nationally. This is an improvement from where ULM was previously in 32nd position nationally. It is hoped that in the future, ULM cooperation will continue to increase and can be implemented well.
