ULM Plans UKT Payments in Installments

Banjarmasin, Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Sc., received an audience visit from BNI Bank in the Rector‘s room, Tuesday (01/02/2024). In this meeting, several issues were discussed, one of which was the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) payment system which is planned to be paid in installments by students. The purpose of paying in installments is to ease the burden on ULM students.

ULM Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dr. Iwan Aflanie, M.Kes., Sp.F., SH explained that ULM does not apply the loan option to students. “ULM still tolerates students who cannot afford to pay UKT in installments,” he explained. The UKT payment installment scheme may be made throughout the same academic semester. At ULM, the nominal UKT varies, starting from the cheapest IDR 500,000 to the most expensive IDR 17,800,000. “The amount of UKT depends on the study program, each study program is different,” he added.

Apart from that, ULM also provides various scholarships to help students in need. Several scholarships currently available at ULM Banjarmasin include the KIP College Scholarship, Academic Achievement Improvement Scholarship (PPA), and Bank Indonesia Scholarship (BI).

This scholarship is given to active undergraduate students from Semester I to Semester VIII. Scholarship application requirements can be seen on the official ULM website.

With a more flexible UKT payment system and various scholarships available, it is hoped that it can help ULM students complete their studies.
