ULM Holds Intra-Campus Organization Outbound, Encourages Students to Improve Soft Skills

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held an “Outbound” activity for Intra-Campus Organizational Development on Thursday (26/10/2023). With the theme The Power of Teamwork with Outbound: “Talent Wins Games, Teamwork Wins Championships”, this activity was held at the ULM Multipurpose Building, Banjarmasin.

ULM Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Sc., had the opportunity to give a speech and open the event directly.

This activity is carried out with the aim of personal development and team development. Through outbound activities, it is hoped that new individuals will be born who are full of motivation, courage, self-confidence, think creatively, have a sense of togetherness, responsibility, cooperation and mutual trust.

This activity was attended by ULM students who are also members of ULM student organizations (ormawa), including the Student Executive (BEM), Student Representative Council (DPM), Student Activity Unit (UKM) and Student Association (HIMA) Department/Study Program.

Intra-campus student organizations are student organizations that have an official position within the university environment. Generally, student organizations consist of student activists who come from various study groups or activities. They are gathered in a forum, namely a student organization with the aim of achieving mutually agreed goals.

As a form of support and appreciation for students who are active as members of student organizations, ULM is holding this activity with the hope that students can get good learning and improve their soft skills. This is also because students are expected to not only be smart in receiving education in the classroom, but also continue to strive to add and hone the soft skills they have so that they have added value when they enter society and compete in the world of work later.
