ULM Signs MoU with Tanah Bumbu DPRD

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Provincial Legislatives Council (DPRD) of Tanah Bumbu Regency on Thursday (15/6/2023).

This MoU was signed directly by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., and the Chairperson of the Tanah Bumbu Regency DPRD, Andrean Atma Maulani, S.H., in the rector’s meeting room of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building. This Memorandum of Understanding was made with the aim of optimizing the utilization of the resources owned by both ULM and the DPRD of Tanah Bumbu Regency.

The scope of cooperation agreed between ULM and DPRD Kab. Tanah Bumbu include:

• Education, Research, Training, Community Service, and Human Resource Development;
• Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program (MBKM), Organizational Development, and Bureaucratic Reform;
• Business development;
• And other agreed fields.

With the agreement between ULM and the Tanah Bumbu DPRD, it is hoped that it will strengthen the synergy between universities and regional policy makers. This synergy is also a form of support from the Tanah Bumbu DPRD as the regional legislative body in realizing the progress of ULM in the context of educating, advancing and improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia, especially South Kalimantan.
