ULM and the HSS District Government Signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU

Hulu Sungai Selatan – University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency (HSS) on Monday (12/6/2023) at the HSS Regent’s Office, Kandangan.

The MoU was signed directly by ULM Rector  Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., and HSS Regent Drs. H. Achmad Fikry, M.A.P. Together with the Rector of ULM, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of ULM, Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si, and Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc also accompanied the signing of this MoU. The team from ULM was warmly welcomed by the HSS District Government. Apart from the Regent, the Regional Secretary and several Heads of the HSS District Office also welcomed ULM’s visit today.

In this meeting, there was also a lot of discussion about ULM’s policies related to reducing UKT to the availability of scholarships offered by ULM besides KIP-College.

The scope of the MoU between ULM and the HSS Regency Government includes:

1. Education, Training, Research, and Community Service;
2. Improvement and Development of Human Resources Competency;
3. Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program;
4. Organizational Development and Bureaucratic Reform;
5. Business development;
6. Other scope of cooperation.

In addition, the collaboration between ULM and the HSS Regency government was also carried out in order to increase the optimal and sustainable utilization of the potential of the two agencies through research, study, and the application of science and technology for sustainable development in the HSS Regency. And also realize good governance. (good governance).

Besides that, it is hoped that through this collaboration we can develop and optimize the potential of human and natural resources in accelerating regional development towards a productive Regency and making the community Smart, Innovative, Technological and Religious (CINTA) to be more prosperous.
