ULM Collaborates with 5 Universities

ULM as a State University in South Kalimantan continues to strive to improve the quality of education in order to improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia, especially South Kalimantan. In realizing this, one of the strategic efforts carried out by ULM includes building synergies with various institutions both regional, national and even international.

Therefore the Rector of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., with the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 5 universities.

The universities that signed a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU with ULM included Sidoarjo Muhammadiyah University, Surabaya State University, Airlangga University, Hang Tuah University Surabaya, and the Yogyakarta STIPER Agricultural Institute.

Based on the MoU that was signed together, ULM and the 5 (five) universities each agreed to cooperate in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. ULM agreed to jointly carry out useful activities in the context of development by utilizing the resources of each tertiary institution.

The scope of the cooperation includes among others:

1. Education;
2. Study;
3. Training;
4. Community service;
5. Improvement and Development of Human Resources Competency;
6. Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program (MBKM);
7. Business development; And
8. Other agreed areas of cooperation.

Collaboration with other tertiary institutions is ULM’s effort to build synergies not only with government and industry institutions, but also with fellow educational institutions in order to realize the commitment to advancing and improving the quality of Indonesian human resources.
