PPKS ULM Task Force Launches Integrated Service Site

Banjarmasin – The Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) Task Force at the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held a socialization event as well as the launch of the PPKS ULM task force’s integrated service website on Tuesday (6/6/2023) in the 1st floor Hall of the ULM Rectorate Building Banjarmasin

Taking the theme “Realizing ULM Free from Sexual Violence”, the ULM PPKS Task Force invited students to attend the launch event as well as socialize the website https://satgas-ppks.ulm.ac.id/. The website is an integrated service site for the PPKS ULM task force which allows ULM students and academics to make complaints related to sexual violence. In addition, this website is also a means for the PPKS ULM task force to provide information related to the prevention and handling of sexual violence, especially within the ULM environment.

The Chairperson of the ULM PPKS Task Force, Lena Hanifah, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D, together with her secretary, M. Rezqon Apriyan, became the speakers for this agenda. Also on this occasion, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Sc was present to give a speech to represent the Rector of ULM.

In his remarks, Dr. Rusmin expressed his appreciation to the ULM PPKS Task Force. Apart from successfully launching an integrated service website, a few days earlier, on May 29 2023 to be exact, the ULM PPKS Task Force received an award from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. This award was obtained, of course, based on the performance of the ULM PPKS Task Force in preventing and handling sexual violence based on Permendikbud Number 30 of 2021.

Besides that, on this occasion, Dr. Rusmin also conveyed several messages entrusted by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E, M.Sc. The Rector advised the PPKS Task Force to continue to maintain and continue to improve the functions of PPKS. The PPKS Task Force is expected to be able to optimize its functions and objectives, where the PPKS Task Force is not only required to handle complaints, but also provide prevention efforts by providing appropriate education and directions to all levels of society within the ULM environment.

With the launch of the ULM PPKS Task Force’s official website, the Rector also hopes that the ULM Task Force will actively provide updates on activities that are carried out consistently. Through the web the PPKS Task Force can also provide guidance and problem solving. In the future, the Rector hopes that the PPKS Task Force website will soon be integrated with SIMARI or the Lambung Mangkurat University Information System so that it can be more easily accessed and accepted by students.

Finally, the Rector advised the PPKS Task Force to continue to build cohesiveness between the teams. He said that cohesiveness is a strategic instrument for an organization to improve performance.

At the end of his speech, Dr. Rusmin expressed his hope for the achievements that the ULM PPKS Task Force had achieved and that with the PPKS ULM integrated service site, all layers of the ULM academic community could get useful services and information.

“Hopefully with the launch of this integrated service site, through this socialization, it can give blessings to ULM so that we can maintain ULM’s dignity,” he concluded.
