ULM and South Kalimantan KADIN Sign MoU to Support MBKM and Entrepreneurship Programs

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) and the South Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Memorandum of Understanding, located at the Mahligai Pancasila Building, Banjarmasin on Thursday (30/3/2023).

The signing of the MoU was carried out directly by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., along with General Chair of the South Kalimantan Province Kadin Shinta Laksmi Dewi who was also witnessed by the Governor of South Kalimantan Dr.(HC). H. Sahbirin Noor, S.Sos., M.H., Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arsjad Rasjid and Member of the Advisory Board and also ULM Professor Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Gusti Muhammad Hatta, M.S.

The Rector hopes that the MoU that has been signed between ULM and the Kadin of South Kalimantan Province can be filled with various activities in order to encourage student participation to continue to develop themselves as entrepreneurs in the future.

one of the main performance indicators that must be achieved by ULM is the number of graduates who become entrepreneurs. Therefore, the presence of Kadin as one of ULM’s strategic partners is expected to provide its own enthusiasm and motivation for ULM in order to provide answers to the challenges posed by the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the development of entrepreneurship for students by every tertiary institution including ULM.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes 1. Education, 2. Research; 3. Training; 4. Community Service; 5. Improvement and Development of Competence in Human Resources, 6. Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program (MBKM); 7. Business Development and 8. Other areas of cooperation agreed by both parties.
