ULM Holds Work Meeting in 2023

Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held the 2023 Work Meeting on Thursday (23/2/2023) at the Aria Barito Hotel Banjarmasin. This annual work meeting was held for 2 (two) days and was attended by all university leaders, faculties and institutions within ULM.

This year’s work meeting carries the theme “Synergy in the preparation of program plans, activities and budgets in order to support the implementation of Public Service Agency-based budget management (BLU) and accelerate the achievement of the target of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and Strategic Plan for 2023”. The holding of this work meeting is the first step for ULM to be able to maximize the achievement of institutional performance, both KPI targets and Strategic Plan targets (strategic plans) within ULM.

The agenda for the meeting this time included the submission of performance achievements in 2022, the delivery of the Rector’s program and work plan for 2023-2024, which was then followed by a Commission Meeting which discussed and planned the ULM work program for 2023. The results obtained will then be determined as a work program ULM 2023-2024.

ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc. said that by convening this Working Meeting, in addition to aiming to build synergy, it is also hoped that it can strengthen and remap the work plans of all ULM programs and activities for 2023-2024. The results of the evaluation of the achievements of the 2022 work program and the design of ULM’s IKU and IKK targets are the basis for consideration for formulating a work program in 2023-2024.

From the evaluation of performance achievements in 2022, the Rector of ULM stated that there were still several indicators that had not been successfully achieved. Therefore, the Rector said that at this meeting, in addition to formulating a work program, leaders must also develop several strategies and scenarios in order to achieve KPI in 2023 later.

“Thus, it is necessary to build synergy and joint commitment between all units in ULM to make ULM more advanced,” said the Rector.
