ULM Welcomes Educational Visit from MAN Insan Cendekia Palangkaraya
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University welcomed a visit from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cendekia Palangkaraya on Wednesday (January 28, 2026). The visit was warmly welcomed by the Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations, Andi Nursalam, AS, S.Pt., in the Wasaka 3 meeting room of the ULM Rectorate. The 28 students from MAN Insan Cendekia Palangkaraya and their four accompanying teachers appeared enthusiastic and excited as they entered the meeting room.
One of the accompanying teachers, Suryadi, S.Pd., expressed his gratitude for the warm celebration provided by ULM. He hoped the students would utilize this activity to gain as much information as possible about ULM.
“This campus is very spacious, we’ve only seen a small part of it, and we made the most of our time exploring the area,” he said.
The group of students who participated in the visit are the first generation of MAN Insan Cendekia Palangkaraya and the first alumni upon graduation. Therefore, Suryadi hopes that some of his students will eventually become students at ULM.
Representing ULM, Andi Nursalam expressed his appreciation for the visit by MAN Insan Cendekia Palangkaraya. He hoped the interaction would provide a realistic picture of academic life at a university. Through this visit, ULM is committed to continuing to provide a platform for information and inspiration for students preparing for their higher education.
This visit by MAN Cendekia Palangkaraya is expected to be the beginning of a lasting relationship between ULM and secondary education institutions, while also motivating students to continue their studies at Lambung Mangkurat University and contribute as the next generation to regional and national development.
