This program carries On-Site Training and Digitalks as the main training methods, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about digital skills, the latest technology, and digital marketing strategies that are relevant to current industry needs.
Along with the rapid development of digital technology, students as future workers are required to have skills that are relevant and adaptive to changes in the industry. IndonesiaNEXT is present as a digital competency development platform that aims to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work. By providing intensive training and sharing direct experiences from professionals, this program encourages students to be ready to face challenges in the digitalization era.
In its implementation, IndonesiaNEXT offers On-Site Training sessions that focus on mastering technical skills such as digital marketing, product management, and technology development. Meanwhile, the Digitalks session presents interactive discussions that bring students together with industry experts, providing in-depth insights into the latest digital trends and successful strategies in the world of work.
This is not the first time the IndonesiaNEXT program has been held. Previously, similar events have been successfully held at various leading campuses in Indonesia, such as the University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and Airlangga University (Unair). Every year, this event has successfully attracted thousands of participants who are enthusiastic about developing their digital skills. In previous years, the best participants of this program even got the opportunity to take international certification and advanced training, which further strengthened their competitiveness in the world of work.
Muharlis, Vice President of Consumer Business Area Pamasuka Telkomsel, said that IndonesiaNEXT is part of Telkomsel’s commitment to supporting digital transformation in Indonesia.
“We believe that investment in digital education is the key to preparing the younger generation to face future challenges. This program is designed to hone technical skills while building a creative and innovative mindset,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lambung Mangkurat University welcomed the implementation of this program. As a campus that has a vision, mission and ideals that focus on wetlands and sustainable development, ULM sees digital skills as an important part of supporting innovation in various fields, including environmental management and community empowerment.
This event was enthusiastically welcomed by ULM students who filled the FEB Lecture Theater. They not only received applicable material, but were also motivated to continue developing digital skills that could support their careers in the future.
With the success of the Road to 9th IndonesiaNEXT at ULM, it is hoped that this program will continue to expand its reach to more campuses throughout Indonesia, opening up more opportunities for students to become part of a competitive and innovative digital ecosystem.
