ULM will have 118 professors by the end of 2023
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has 119 professors by the end of 2023, thus further strengthening the position of state universities (PTN) in South Kalimantan as the best in the regional area of the island of Kalimantan.” Thank God, at the end of this year ULM added four new professors. “So the total is now 119 professors, far leaving other PTNs in Kalimantan,” said ULM Rector Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
The Rector said that the current achievement of the number of professors was also special because the number had increased rapidly in just the last year, namely 50 people were appointed spread across 11 faculties. He further emphasized the existence of strategic professors to strengthen human resource capacity in order to accelerate the achievement of ULM’s targets. In fact, the recent success in achieving international accreditation by six study programs at ULM was inseparable from the support of professors who were a plus point during the assessment process. The Chancellor of ULM ensured that professors provided guarantees for higher quality Tridharma activities, including guarantees for 37 thousand students to gain competitive learning.
