KHDTK ULM Establishes Collaboration with Tadulako University

Banjarbaru, Forest Area with Special Purposes at Lambung Mangkurat University (KHDTK ULM) officially collaborated with the Forestry Study Program at Tadulako University, Wednesday (11/10/2023). Through a cooperation agreement signed directly by the Chair of KHDTK ULM Dr. Ir. Muhammad Helmi, M.M., CPM(Asia) and Head of UNTAD Forestry Study Program Dr. Ir. Abdul Rosyid, M.Si., KHDTK ULM and the UNTAD Forestry study program will collaborate in the field of developing student and lecturer competencies.
The collaboration that will be carried out between KHDTK ULM and UNTAD Forestry study program includes:
- Research and service are in accordance with the Tridharma of Higher Education
- Provision of expert staff
- Basic student training
- Place for student practice and research
- Student KKN; And
- Camping Rides
Forest Areas with Special Purposes or KHDTK are forest areas specifically designated for forestry research and development, forestry education and training as well as religion and culture.
The government determines certain forest areas with special purposes (KHDTK), one of which is used for Forestry Education and Training activities, the management of which is given to universities without changing the main function of the forest area.
Lambung Mangkurat University has obtained a permit to manage Forest Areas with Special Purposes (Forestry Education and Training Forests) in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number SK.900/Menlhk/Setjen/PLA.0/12/2016 dated 6 December 2016 concerning Determination Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) in the Mount Waringin Forest Group and Babaris Mountains located in Karang Intan District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province
