Urun Rembuk Ormawa and ULM Student Character Education in 2023 was attended by:

1. Rector
2. Vice Rector
3. Bureau Heads
4. Deputy Deans for Student and Alumni Affairs
5. Chairman of CEDC, PLBK, and PPKS
6. ULM and Simkatmawa IKU Acceleration Team
7. Student Affairs ranks at both the University and Faculty levels; And
8. Heads of Ormawa within the University of Lambung Mangkurat.

The ULM 2023 Ormawa gathering is held so that all academics can find out all about the problems that occur in the ULM environment, especially for ormawa and issues that are of concern in the implementation of student organizations.

Through this discussion, a solution can also be born for every problem that exists in ormawa, starting from increasing the capabilities/skills of students and organizations to the infrastructure that supports the running of the organization.

Another activity carried out which is a routine agenda for ULM’s student affairs is Student Character Education.

Character education is a government policy in the field of education which has assigned tertiary institutions to implement character development and development programs among new students in order to form human beings with character.

This is in accordance with Education Law No. 20 of 2003 article 3, that national education functions to develop capabilities and shape dignified national character and civilization in the context of educating the nation’s life. National education aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent and become citizens of a democratic and responsible state.
