Healthy Walks Celebrate National Education Day and Freedom to Learn Month

Banjarbaru – Rector of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si took part in the healthy walk which was held to commemorate National Education Day (Hardiknas) at Murjani Field on Sunday (14/5/2023). In line with the program created by the Ministry, namely Merdeka Belajar, this healthy walk was held in order to enliven the Freedom to Learn Month.

Through the South Kalimantan Provincial Education Quality Assurance Center (BPMP), this healthy walk was carried out by inviting theRector of Lambung Mangkurat University, Head of LLDIKTI Region XI Kalimantan, Director of Tanah Laut State Polytechnic, Director of Banjarmasin State Polytechnic, Head of Banjarbaru City Education Office, Head of BGP Kalimantan Province Selatan, Head of Language Center for South Kalimantan Province, Head of BSI KCP Martapura, and Hafecs Development Partners along with all employees in the agency to enliven this activity.

The Rector of ULM who was present at this activity hoped that the government’s program, namely Merdeka Belajar, could get better in the future. He stated that through this independent learning concept the quality of learning at all levels continues to improve. This concept will give freedom to implementers of educational activities to be able to develop independence in the teaching and learning process.

This activity was attended by leaders and employees of a number of agencies, especially under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology such as ULM, LLDIKTI Region XI Kalimantan, Politala, Poliban, Banjarbaru Education Agency, South Kalimantan Movement Teacher Center (BGP), and South Kalimantan Language Center.
