Monitoring the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Merdeka Kampus Program at ULM

Banjarmasin – The Teaching Campus Program Team Together with the Belmawa Directorate, the Independent Campus Center implementation team, and representatives of the SD Directorate conducted monitoring and evaluation of the Teaching Campus 5 Program at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Tuesday (23/5/2023). This Monev was held in the Auditorium Room 2nd floor of the ULM Rectorate and was attended by Vice Rector of ULM, MBKM Coordinator, Dean, Deputy Dean, Head of Bureau, Coordinator, DPL (Field Supervisor), and Student Guidance.

This meeting was held in the framework of monitoring and evaluating assignments related to the Teaching Campus program which has been going on for 3.5 months and to find out the obstacles that have occurred during the implementation of the program which is still ongoing to date. How then can teaching campuses be part of the solution to the challenges faced by friends in the field.

From the meeting it was found that one of the obstacles faced was in terms of funding allocation for programs to be run by students and Field Supervisors in designated schools such as the literacy corner program where this program requires reference books and other funds to make programs such as competitions successful. literacy competition. Because it is fully realized that the focus of this teaching campus is literacy so it is hoped that this program can attract students’ interest in order to improve their literacy skills. So far ULM has carried out campus teaching programs well with assistance from companies assisted by ULM students who submitted proposals to the company.

Apart from that, the condition of the library is inadequate and unfriendly in terms of buildings and the availability of books that are still not updated. So that it requires the help of regional and national libraries to facilitate several books that are appropriate for the age of the students.

The Teaching Campus itself is a learning channel that provides opportunities for students to study off-campus for one semester in order to practice their ability to solve complex problems by becoming partners with teachers to innovate in learning, develop strategies and learning models that are creative, innovative and fun.
