Implementation of the Lambung Mangkurat University Level Pilmapres in 2023
Banjarmasin – (05/04/2023) The Chancellor of Lambung Mangkurat University attended the Opening and Implementation of the 2023 Lambung Mangkurat University Level Pilmapres Selection (ULM Pilmapres). This event took place in Hall 1 of the ULM Rectorate Banjarmasin and was attended by the ULM Outstanding Student Selection Jury Team In 2023 they include Noer Komari, S.Sc., M.Kes, Fauzie Rahman, SKM, MPH., Major Czi Ir. Suharjono, M.H., Raisa Fadilla, M.Pd., Dr. Drs. Eko Suhartono, M.Sc, Deputy Chancellor for student affairs and ULM Alumni Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si, Deputy Dean 3 at ULM, Head of BAK Dra. Hj. Lisna Rahmawati, M.Pd, Head of Student Affairs and Students participating in the 2023 ULM Pilmapres
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si in his remarks expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation to all students who have participated in the process of selecting outstanding students at their respective faculty levels at ULM. He hopes that at the level of selecting outstanding students at ULM it will produce outstanding students who can represent the University at the national level and hope to become champions in the 2023 Pilmapres.
Student activities are one of the parts that are measured in measuring the main performance indicators for ULM and all tertiary institutions, therefore student activity programs must be a priority and focus for the university to be able to show better ULM performance in the future.
The Rector encouraged that the budget for student activities in 2024 be reviewed and scrutinized again in order to maximize student activities. “Take efficiency measures that make it possible to be more efficient, so that you can increase the budget for student activities,” said the Chancellor. He believes that sufficient budget support to finance student activities at ULM will be able to maximize the achievements that can be achieved.
Pilmapres or Student Achievement Election itself is a student competition held by the National Achievement Center under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education every year. The aim is to give appreciation to the best students who are ready to become agents of change to build a better Indonesia.
With a focus on Bachelor and Diploma programs. In addition, this activity aims to motivate students to carry out curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities as a vehicle for synergizing student hard skills and soft skills and encourage universities to develop an academic culture that can facilitate students to achieve proud achievements on an ongoing basis.
