The Rector Inaugurates the PIPS Writing Laboratory of FKIP ULM

Rector of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E, M.Si inaugurated the Writing Laboratory of Social Sciences Education study program (PIPS) FKIP ULM on Friday (20/1/2023). The inauguration ceremony was held at the IPS Education Laboratory which was attended by the ULM Deputy Rector, 2014-2022 ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Sutarto Hadi, M.Sc., M.Sc., Dean of FKIP Dr. Chairil Faif Pasani, M.Sc., and Study Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. Drs. Ersis Warmansyah Abbas, BA, M.P, and all lecturers of the PIPS FKIP ULM study program.

With the establishment of the Writing Laboratory, Prof. Ersis hopes that many papers will be produced and useful, especially for lecturers. In line with ULM Rector Prof. Ahmad who said that the existence of this laboratory would provide motivation for lecturers to carry out writing programs. “Our hope is that the results of research and research conducted by lecturers can then be properly written and published,” said Prof. Ahmad.

The writing laboratory at PIPS FKIP ULM is the first writing laboratory at ULM. The Rector also plans to encourage other faculties to have similar laboratories.
