Banjarmasin \u2013 Korem 101\/Antasari, South Kalimantan Province, held an Independence Carnival on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023 on Thursday (24\/8\/2023). This carnival route starts from the Korem 101\/Antasari headquarters, Banjarmasin and ends at Kiram Park, Banjar Regency. Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., also attended and took part in the implementation of the Independence Carnival. South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor together with Danrem 101\/Antasari Brigadier General Ari Ariyanto were also present in person to send off the parade participants.<\/p>\n
This year’s Independence Carnival was attended by around 4,000 bikers who were members of various communities. This year is the fourth time the Independence Carnival has been held.<\/p>\n
“This year it is more lively, there are more participants and they don’t just come from South Kalimantan.” said Ari Ariyanto. The Governor of South Kalimantan, H. Sahbirin Noor, on this occasion said that holding the Independence Day event was a momentum for the community to encourage enthusiasm and remember the services of the heroes. He hopes that on the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, all South Kalimantan residents will experience equal prosperity. “Let’s eradicate poverty, ignorance and backwardness together,” he said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, the Governor of South Kalimantan, H Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin, said that the independence parade was a momentum to spur the spirit of heroes. In the spirit of the hero in question, at the momentum of independence, he hopes that all South Kalimantan residents will experience equal prosperity. “Let’s work together to eradicate poverty, eradicate ignorance and eradicate backwardness,” he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Danrem 101\/Antasari Brigadier General Ari Aryanto said that this Independence Carnival was the 4th time it had been held. According to him, this year was more lively because around 4 thousand bikers participated and not only from South Kalimantan but also from outside the region. “This year it was even more lively, around 4 thousand bikers participated from various communities, some even came from Sulawesi,” said Danrem.<\/p>\n
At the momentum of independence, Ari Aryanto also advised all citizens to always work together.
